We had a wonderful wine weekend at Chateau Yering, enjoying the tranquil and historic atmosphere. The grounds and rooms were charming, with century features throughout. The staff were lovely, making check-in and check-out seamless. The location in the heart of the Yarra wine region was fabulous. The internal decor, although a little dated, was impressive. The breakfast was just right and the hotel arranged an excellent winery tour for us at short notice. Thank you for a memorable stay!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Chateau Yering is my go-to spot in Yarra Glen. I keep coming back because it has all I need - free Wi-Fi, parking, bar, restaurant, 24-hour reception. The friendly staff even helped me find a lost earring. Can't wait to return for New Year!

The St Huberts or Yeringberg suites are absolutely stunning with their wraparound balconies and cozy window seats. The views of the Yarra Ranges are simply breathtaking and ever-changing. As a nature lover, I felt completely mesmerized by the beauty right outside my window.
Personally, I didn't find much enjoyment in one feature. But that's just me – the gas log fireplace in the lounge room felt a bit tricky to operate.

I recently had an amazing experience at Chateau Yering. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and everything shines. The rooms are quiet and super comfortable, with great air-conditioning and lighting. The Melba Suite, in particular, was like a large studio apartment with a spacious outdoor balcony and a stunning view. The staff, especially Julia at breakfast and Anne at reception, provided exceptional customer service. The breakfast was delicious, and the location of the hotel in the Yarra Valley made it convenient for visiting local attractions. a truly memorable stay.
Can't think of anything 😊

My recent stay at Chateau Yering was absolutely delightful. The charming grounds and century features throughout the chateau added a touch of elegance. The Yering suite, with its spaciousness and cozy fireplace, provided the perfect retreat from the cold weather. Natalie, the staff member who took care of us, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Despite a minor issue, she resolved it commendably. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable experience.

Set amidst beautiful gardens with a lovely pool, this traditional hotel exudes character and charm. Spacious well-appointed rooms with balconies offer views over the spectacular Yarra valley. The helpful and friendly staff are a real asset. A particular highlight was the quality local wines served at the restaurant.
The sub-standard food served at the hotel's restaurant was a big let-down, with lukewarm meat dishes and inferior quality desserts. The breakfast at the cafe was also disappointing, with terrible service and burnt tasteless food.

This hotel had impressive cleanliness and facilities. We enjoyed the spacious room and the comfortable bed with a great view of unloved gardens that could be magnificent. The hotel’s location in a beautiful area was perfect for our transportation needs, and the parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was plentiful with many choices made to order.
Nothing, it is perfect.
